We have a story in pictures of the six cubs in Wild Enclosure #2. They are still at work excavating under the Acclimation Pen to create a den. After working, they went to meet at the base of a tree.

The cubs march in a line.
They stopped by a tree to – what? Plan some mischief, perhaps.
Something startled the cubs.
Everybody climb a tree!
Hurry up! Climb faster!
It’s OK, we can climb down.

The cubs reacted in the right way, just as wild bears would. They climbed to escape a perceived threat, and waited until they were sure it was safe to come down. Good bears!
